Pea & Cheese Noodle Salad July 5, 2013

Here's a salad that is a family favorite in my house, especially when there's a picnic being planned!

Pea & Cheese Salad

You will need:

16 oz box of noodles (prepare as package states, rinse and set aside)
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup salad dressing
1 cup sour cream
1 tbsp dill weed
1 oz package Hidden Valley Ranch Dip
1 small onion chopped
1 cup frozen peas
6 slices cooked bacon chopped into bits
1 cup cheddar or colby cheese cut in little chunks
1/2 cup milk (last ingredient, add before serving)

In a large salad bowl, mix together all the above ingredients, with the exception of the noodles & milk.  Then add your cooked noodles, mix well and chill.  Before serving, add 1/2 cup of milk, and remix for cool creamy salad that's sure to please!

This is the time of year to take advantage of your Farmer's Market or the Produce Dept in your local grocery store.  There's nothing like a mixture of fresh vegetables to make you feel that touch of summer.
