I did my best to take some close up pictures of the Easter eggs I hand painted & embellished. Enjoy!
Hand Painted & Embellished Easter Eggs 2015 April 2, 2015
I finally finished painting & embellishing my Easter eggs. Who knew that it would take so long to decorate 12 little eggs? Right now I’m sick of looking at them, so I don’t even like them. lol Next year when I bring them out, I’ll really enjoy them. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend! Be blessed for HE HAS RISEN. HALLELUJAH!!
Arrieta’s New Collar Bow August 13, 2014
Piddling around in my sewing room a bit today, and decided Arri needed a new bow on her collar. My little girly girl loves dirt, mud, water, and anything else she can get into. Can't blame me for trying though! 🙂
Our American Flag Is UP! May 6, 2014
Today's project! It's not quite finished, but we are proud of it just the same. Another garden box will be around the base, and I already have the flowers purchased for it. God Bless America & those who fought and are still fighting for our country! My day, my husband, and many uncles have fought for this country. One of my uncles was lost defending it too. We suppor our troops, and continue to pray for our country.
Octagon Garden In The Making May 4, 2014
Hi Everyone!
I hope y’all have been having a great weekend. I must apologize for not having anything to post in a while, but we have been taking advantage of these dry 80 degree days to get a few projects completed. I finished my octagon garden yesterday, and I have to say… I an tickled with it! Today, my hubby is finishing up the concreting of the front patio before we put down the pavers. It’s going to be gorgeous out there, and a wonderful place to sit & enjoy the neighbors. We have so many projects in the works right now, so that’s where our focus has been. I am feeling the burn of unused muscles, and I’m also feeling my age. I just don’t remember gardening feeling quite like this. OUCH! lol I’m adding a few pictures to share our progress. I hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful! Stay Sweet! 🙂
Baskets! March 30, 2013
I picked these little baskets up at a yardsale yesterday. I love taking something old, and making it brand new! 🙂
Canvas Wall Hangings November 7, 2012
Fabric On Canvas Wall Hangings
Supplies You'll Need:
Canvas
Fabric Pieces
Mod Podge
Paintbrush
Ruler
Cutting Tool or Scissors
Choose the size canvas you wish to cover. I used pillow panels as the covering I adhered to the canvas. Use creativity to create patterns and borders. Once you have glued your patterns into place, put another coating of mod podge on top of your fabric covered canvas. Use a blow dryer to dry, or let it dry overnight. These turn out quite nice, and will be something you are proud to hang on the wall!
Lantern With Floral Swag September 29, 2012
Lantern With Floral Swag
I finished my lantern today! I purchased the lantern at Hobby Lobby at a discounted rate due to broken glass. I had the glass replaced for nominal price, so I am very pleased with the deal I got! I plan to hang this in my foyer. I look forward to creating different swags depending on the season. This is my Fall version. Now I have to get my hubby to hang it for me! Love it!
