Light & Fruity Mousse May 21, 2013

Treat yourself without a lot of guilt attached!  This is so refreshing, and a healthy cure for your sweet tooth.  It's also a pretty easy dessert to throw together.  It would also make a great fruit dip.

Light & Fruity Mousse1


8 oz light cream cheese
3 oz packet sugar free strawberry jello
2 or 3 kiwi's diced
8 oz diced pineapple chunks
11 oz can mandarin oranges drained
1 cup strawberries diced
16 oz tub of lite cool whip

Whip room temperature cream cheese until smooth and creamy.  Add 1/2 of your fruit to the cream cheese, and the packet of sugar free strawberry jello. Mix with your mixer till well blended.  Next add Cool Whip and mix again.  Fold in the rest of the fruit to the mixture.  This will give you little bits of the fruit throughout this fresh dessert.  Spoon into dessert cups and chill.  I like to freeze individual servings also.  It's makes a wonderful frozen dessert, or a great fruit dip.  It's a healthy way to cure a sweet tooth!  Enjoy!
